The highly anticipated Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair 2007 will be held from September 5 - 9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Entering its 26th edition, the fair is proving itself as the largest trade fair of its kind in the world, as more than 820 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions are expected to participate in this blooming annual event.

Over the years, the fair has successfully established itself as a premier sourcing platform wholly dedicated to clocks and watches. Buyers will be dazzled by the wide range of exhibits they will find at the fair, ranging from complete watches & clocks, parts and components, watch cases, and packaging to machinery and equipment.

Introduced in year 2000, the premium section Brand Name Gallery at the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair showcases the very latest cutting-edge designs from some of the world's most creative designers. Prestigious brands and outstanding designers' collections will appeal to buyers, with more than 100 brands from 16 countries and regions on display. The continual increase in the number of brands participating in the gallery reflects a satisfactory response from buyers.

Brands featured at this premium zone include Hong Kong names such as LAtitude, o.d.m.; French brands such as LAFUMA, Pierre Lannier, ELITE MODELS' FASHION, Thierry Mugler; Daewoo of Korea; Italian brand GF FERRE; and Swiss brands such as OLYMPIA STAR and MUREX, and many more.

Besides sourcing activities, a series of seminars and the widely popular Asian Watch Conference will also be held during the fair period. Taking place on September 8th, the Asian Watch Conference features Mr. Jean-Daniel Pasche, President, Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH, as the keynote speaker this year. Mini watch parades will also be held throughout the fair period, highlighting some of the outstanding designs from exhibitors and adding colour to the fair.

With an aim to further enhance the design and quality of Hong Kong-made watches and clocks, the 24th Hong Kong Watch and Clock Design Competition will again be a concurrent event to the fair. Winners in the Open Group, competing under the theme of "Lifestyle Culture", and Student Group, competing under the theme of "Dream of the Future", will be receiving their awards at the opening ceremony of the fair on September 5.

The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and the Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd. The 2006 fair attracted a total of 16,348 buyers from 96 countries and regions.
